As a technical research and development support base for canned processing positions in the national modern agricultural (citrus) industrial technology system, Taizhou Yican actively promotes various forms of industry-university-research cooperation. The cooperation with the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences can be traced back to the 1980s, when the canned orange industry moved from developed countries to the country by cooperating with the Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The current difficulty in recruiting is becoming more and more prominent. The cost of production and employment of enterprises is constantly increasing, and the market competition is fierce. Machine replacement is necessary. In 2008, with the team of Dr. Zhang Jun from the Institute of Food Science of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, we started the research and development cooperation of mechanized and intelligent equipment for canned citrus production. The innovation of science and technology needs to be tested and perfected in large-scale production practice. The research results of the doctoral team are combined and applied with the company's production platform. Technological innovation has brought huge economic benefits to the company. In 2018, the company's exports of canned citrus accounted for one-tenth of the country's total exports.

Afterwards, the participants listened carefully to a comprehensive report on the pilot test of Dr. Zhang Jun's canned intelligent equipment research and development results. Will continue to cooperate in the research and development of citrus splitting, sorting, weighing and other automation equipment to promote the reduction of production costs and increase production capacity and product quality. With the goal of building a "black light factory", and with a focus on everything, we can better serve the transformation and upgrading of the food processing industry.

Dean Lao Hongwu expressed his affirmation of Taizhou Yitan's continuous focus on the research and development of intelligent equipment and continuous innovation in cooperation with the Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
